Yemen Venini vase design Ettore Sottsass
Medium Venini vase, from the collection, Yemen and Oman in opal blown Murano glass, obtained by overlapping the milk with other glasses and handmade, in coral red, black and green.
Yemen, a central black sphere resting on a very light green base, on which the Venini signature is engraved with its Ettore Sottsass design, which supports a clean and linear coral red cup.
The process is defined as blown opal by the way in which the artisans expand and work the glass, blowing inside a metal barrel connected to it; flying hand instead from the dexterity and movement of the hand of the master in the processing of hot glass.
