Venini Veronese red vase 90th anniversary - 600.01

The Veronese was blown for the first time in 1921, thanks to the intuition of the painter Vittorio Zecchin, artistic director of Venini from 1921 to 1925.
The artist took his cue from a painting of 1580 by Paolo Veronese "The Annunciation of the Virgin", preserved in the Galleries of the Academy of Venice.
The glass work achieved great success, so much so that it became the "logo" of the company.
